Healing your self out of a paper bag!

I
have run into a few instances where a healer is trying to start their
profession and not having the success that they would like. I call
this the healing your self out of a paper bag syndrome. I have found
myself victim to this ailment. It seems as though you have this beautiful tool where you can do wonderful things. So you sit inside of you paper bag looking through the few holes that you have made and say to yourself, "wow, look at all the people that I could help if they let me!" then you sit down in your comfortable bag and hope someone throws something cool in through the top.
The process of tearing down the bag is quite fearful. What if I am not successful? What if this stuff doesn't work? So if I sit in my bag and just keep looking through the holes, and as long as god keeps throwing in something cool I will be all right.
On occasion, when you are trying to make a new "safe" hole you rip a little too much of the bag! Then you question weather you should continue to make holes. What if the bag comes crumbling down?
Well I have been doing belief work. I am now on a kick with the command to "resolve fear and create knowledge" I feel as though the bag is crumbling down.
I am looking to share my experience and hopefully learn if others have faced these feelings and how they are facing them.
Thanks,
