What does a Theta Healing Session look like:Here is an example of a short Theta Healing session:
A first time Client, the artist, comes in with complaint of neck pain.
Practitioner: Tell me about the neck pain, where does it hurt?
Artist: It generally hurts in the back of my neck. I feel like I am all cramped up.
P: Kinda like you are shrugging you shoulders all the time?
Artist:: Yea, I look a computer screen all the time and I find that I hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders.
P: What do you do while you are looking at your computer?
Artist: I am a photographer and writer so I am editing my work preparing for publication.
P: Is this stressful?
Artist:: It is the most stressful part of my work. I am usually having a good time, but the editing process can be a pain.
P: Why is it a pain?
Artist:: I feel that I have to get it just right, as an artist I am in a competitive field and my work has to be top notch.
P: So you feel that you work has to be top notch for you to suceed and that the only way that you can succeed is if everything is just perfect, so you focus very hard on making your editing really excellent. Is this correct?
Artist:: pretty much.
P: So would you like to feel I how creating excellent work does not have to be stressful but can joyous and easy?
Artist:: yes.
Practitioner closes his eyes and makes the command, “Creator of all that is, resolve all beliefs that work has to be difficult or stressful and create the experience that work is joyous and easy. Thank you! It is done! Show me!” Then the practitioner watches with his intuition this change being made in the client.
When the practitioner opens his eyes the client quickly says:
Artist: Thanks, but also it is just a difficult time consuming process and it is just not very much fun.
P: So what is the worst thing about not having very much fun?
Artist: I feel like I am wasting my time unnecessarily.
P: What is the worst thing about wasting your time unnecessarily?
Artist: I don't feel like I am living up to my potential, I am an artist not an editor and editing is a crummy job.
P: So what is the worst thing about not living up to your potential and doing the crummy work?
Artist: Wasting my time. It is just wasting my time. I am an artist, and I want to be free!
P: Would you like to know how life feels if you are not trapped and wasting your time and begin to feel creative and free in all of your work including the editing process?
Artist: Yes
Practitioner closes his eyes and goes up and makes the Command: “Creator of all that is, resolve the belief that the artist is trapped and wasting his time and create the experience that the artist is free and creative in all of his work including the editing process.”
After the practitioner sees the change happening for around a minute he asks the client, how he feels.
Artist: A little better. I feel some of the weight has been lifted. Now I am tryng to figure out how I will be successful with this next contract.
P: Is it a big job?
Artist: Yes, very difficult clients that want everything to just be perfect?
P: You seem to continue to invite the idea of perfection into your life.
Artist: (Smiles), that is why I am so good!
P: Can I show you Creator's definition of perfection?
Artist: yes.
The practitioner makes the command to show the client the Creators definition of perfection.
After a few moments he asks,
P: Can I show you that perfection is easy and joyous?
Artist: yes.
The practitioner make the command to show the client that perfection can be easy and joyous. After witnessing the change, the practitioner again asks, how are you feeling.
Artist: Even better, but my neck is still a little sore.
P: Well, I feel like we have uncovered the beliefs that lead to a sore neck, so can I try an instant healing and relieve the stress that you hold in your neck?
Artist: Yes.
The practitioner closes his eyes and makes the command to release the stress that the client holds in his neck and create feelings of health and joy. The practitiner watches this for a few minutes and when he opens his eyes, he notices that the client still has his eyes closed and is still in a relaxed state of consciousness. The practitioner waits for the client to open his eyes and then asks, “How are you feeling?”
Artist: Pretty good........ I feel much clearer.
P: Do you have anything else that you would like to discuss?
Artist: I feel am O.K. for now.
P. Well let me know how it goes and come see me if you are still having any problems.
Artist: Thank you.
The practitioner first addressed the issues that were causing the neck pain before he tried to effect the pain directly. This is the first time he has met this client so he felt that it would be wise to affect the healing process gently. If there was more time or if the client comes back with some sense of validation that the healing worked but he was still having trouble, the practitioner would address the issues of weather the client was comfortable receiving a healing and that he believed that the client's understanding of God could do miracles in his life.
Once these fundamental beliefs became established, the practitioner would help the client feel loved and show him what it means to be unconditionally loved in his life, and that he can share unconditional love with others. This establishes that the client is consciously accepting the creative healing harmonies of life. If these fundamental beliefs take hold, the client is ready to accept Miracles in his life.
Often the practitioner can go directly to an instantaneous healing and after seeing how much effect this has, he can accept direction on what to address next. Also, the practitioner is trained to accept guidance from the Creator of all that is during the discovery process to become effective in the best and highest manner.
